Birthday Party - Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have
to be able to swim to take part?
All
participants involved in ‘on the water’ activities must have a degree of
water confidence, but do not have to be able to swim.
Do you
provide lunch?
Lunch is not provided, however there are plenty of picnic tables,
benches and grass areas around the lake for a picnic.
I want to
invite 15 children to the party, how much extra would this cost?
Costs are per group of 10 children and do not work on a per person
basis, so it would be another £150.
This is because we would need to add another instructor to help
supervise the group.
How can I
book?
Contact us to see if the date and activities you require are available.
Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.
You can do this over the phone or in person.
Is there
anything else I need to do?
You
will need to inform us of non-swimmers and of any medical conditions
that the instructor should be aware of.
When you book you will be given a consent form that will need to
be signed by each parent and returned on the day detailing this
information.
What
happens if the weather is bad?
As
a watersports centre we are used to the wind and rain, so most
activities will continue as planned.
However, in some cases it may be necessary to alter the session,
as we want the children to enjoy their day.
Only in extreme cases would we reschedule a party.
What do the
children need to wear or bring?
Generally children will need to bring a complete change of clothes/shoes
for water based activities, but it does vary slightly.
A list of what you need is on the
consent form that will need to be signed by each parent.
