With today's busy lifestyle, owning a boat with the upkeep of insurance is a lot of hassle. If you would prefer to spend all your free time actually sailing and leave Whitecap Leisure to maintain the boats you should consider our new membership scheme.
If you are a family, as children get bigger you may prefer to use different sizes of boats sometimes taking the children with you in a crew boat. At other times children could sail an optimist or Pico by themselves. Our membership has no restrictions on how many days each month or the number of boats in each package. If you sail a crew boat one weekend and two Pico's the next that is the flexibility the family package is designed to provide.

This is suitable for everyone who has completed their Seamanship Skills Course, Dinghy Catamaran course. Spinnaker s are only available to those who have completed sailing with spinnakers. Windsurfers need to attended our windsurfing planning lesson or hold RYA intermediate planning (Level 3).

Provided we have space in our storage area we are pleased to consider offering members storage space for dinghies and windsurfers. Please enquire.
Centre buoyancy aids are provided without charge.
We generally expect members would prefer to have their own wetsuits. Wetsuits available for hire 2 per session. (wetsuits issued if required without charge to windsurfers)
We expect members will wish to buy their own windsurfing harness which can be purchased from our shop.
Trapeze harnesses supplied with trapeze dinghies without charge.
