Willen Lake has a diverse range of facilities and opportunities from 1 day concessions through to longer term tenants.

With a footfall of between 1 and 1.2 million people each year Willen Lake has huge natural footfall on which to draw and its growing! About Whitecap Leisure

Whitecap Leisure is a busy Watersports Centre on Willen Lake, Milton Keynes. The centre has Royal Yachting Association recognition, British Canoe Union Centre Approval. 

We understand the importance to our staff of gaining experience and furthering their career development and are fully committed to helping them do so. Our centre caters for a variety of groups of all ages and abilities, the location is an ideal environment for gaining supervised log book experience. On-site training is available to all our Instructors.

Vacancies are available at our centre to instruct activities, usually at taster level, although specific courses run throughout the year, for example Royal Yachting Association Levels 1 & 2 Sailing.

Requirements

Applicants should normally hold at least one National Governing Body qualification.

Season

Employment begins in the middle of March through to October.

Pay Scale

This is on a rising scale depending on qualifications and experience.

Accommodation

This is available on site in mobile homes.

Seasonal Adminstrators

 We are looking for 3 administrators either full time seasonal or part time seasonal to operate a busy watersport/events centre office.  Previous experience of a administration is necessary but training will be given.  Candidates would need to be effective at following proceedures, personally motivated to deliver a high standard of work. They should enjoy greeting customers and have a confident telephone manner. They would also possess excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.  The administrator would be responsible for dealing with enquiries, correspondence, statistics, bookings, welcoming customers and shop sales.  Applicants must have good customer service, sound Basic English and Maths skills. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Office products. 

Post commences: Various Start dates throughout the season

Remuneration: £5.77 to £6.75 per hour depending on age and experience.

Interviews: Week beginning 8th March 2010
